Glazed accumulative chimney tiles for fireplace inserts and stoves

LAC glazed accumulative chimney tiles are designed for the passive use of heat from flue gases. Installed around the flue pipe, they absorb thermal energy during operation and gradually release the accumulated heat.

This version features a glazed surface and is intended for fireplace inserts and stoves with a top flue outlet.

One set consists of two half-rings

Two glazed half-rings form one complete set around the flue pipe. The tiles store heat from the flue gases and gradually release the accumulated heat.

Installation and use

The chimney tiles are installed around the flue pipe. Two half-rings form one set and are assembled dry, without mortar.

The sets are stacked crosswise to form a compact heat accumulation system. An installation of 4–8 sets is typically recommended.

Important installation information

The chimney tiles can be used with fireplace inserts and stoves from different manufacturers with a top flue outlet. Before installation, verify with the appliance manufacturer whether the tiles can be placed directly on the appliance or whether a separate self-supporting structure is required.
