The VKT bogie-hearth furnace is designed for industrial heat treatment processes where high load capacity, robust construction, five-sided heating and practical charge handling are essential.

The charge is loaded onto the furnace bogie outside the chamber and then driven into the furnace. This makes the VKT series suitable for heavy-duty industrial heat treatment where standard front-loading chamber furnaces are no longer practical.

The VKT furnace is suitable when the charge is too large, heavy or difficult to handle in a standard chamber furnace. The bogie trolley allows the charge to be prepared outside the furnace and then moved into the chamber.

Heating from five sides

The VKT furnace uses resistance heating distributed on the furnace sides, rear wall, door and bogie hearth. This supports more uniform heat transfer around the charge and helps improve process stability.
