Bogie hearth oven for bulky and heavy charges up to 250 °C

Need to dry, preheat, cure or temper large and heavy charges without difficult manual handling?

The SVK bogie hearth oven up to 250 °C is designed for industrial processes where you need easy loading, forced air circulation and even temperature distribution.

When is this oven the right choice?
  • You process bulky, heavy or large-volume charges
  • You need an oven up to 250 °C
  • You want convenient loading using a bogie trolley
  • You require forced air circulation
  • You work with drying, curing, tempering, preheating, vulcanisation or artificial ageing
  • You need an oven designed for repeated industrial operation
The SVK bogie hearth oven is suitable when the charge is too large, bulky or heavy for a standard chamber oven. The bogie trolley allows the charge to be loaded outside the chamber and then moved into the oven. This makes loading easier and more practical, especially in production environments where parts are handled by crane, forklift or other equipment.

Key features:

  • Maximum temperature 250 °C
  • Recommended operating range 100–250 °C
  • Bogie hearth loading system
  • Forced air circulation
  • Stainless steel internal chamber protection
  • Manual bogie trolley as standard
  • Rails supplied as part of delivery
  • Door opening to the side in C-type suspension

Typical applications

The SVK bogie hearth oven is suitable for low-temperature industrial processes where large or heavy charges need to be dried, preheated, cured or tempered with forced air circulation.

  • Drying moulds and cores
  • Drying
  • Granulate drying
  • Curing
  • Tempering
  • Vulcanisation
  • Preheating
  • Preheating castings
  • Preheating moulds
  • Preheating prior to forging
  • Artificial ageing
  • Firing
  • Burning-in of electrical components

Typical industries

  • Foundries and casting operations
  • Automotive industry
  • Electrical industry
  • Rubber processing
  • Plastics processing
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Industrial production with large or heavy components

Main benefits

  • Easy loading of bulky and heavy charges
  • Even temperature distribution thanks to forced air circulation
  • Suitable for crane and forklift handling
  • Durable chamber protection against mechanical and chemical stress
  • Suitable for repeated industrial operation
Suitable for customers who need a bogie hearth oven for large, bulky or heavy charges and low-temperature processes up to 250 °C.

If your process requires temperatures up to 450 °C, consider the SVK 450 °C bogie hearth oven.
