S-type thermocouple for high-temperature measurement in furnaces and thermal equipment
The S-type thermocouple is designed for reliable temperature measurement in high-temperature applications. The measuring element consists of platinum-rhodium and platinum wires (Pt10Rh–Pt).
The thermocouple is protected by a ceramic sheath and supplied as a complete assembly with a metal mounting bracket and ceramic terminal block.

Thermocouple design
The S-type thermocouple consists of a Pt10Rh–Pt measuring element protected by a ceramic sheath and mounted in a metal holder with a ceramic terminal block.
