High-Temperature Furnace with SiC Heating Rods LHS 08/15 up to 1500 °C

Laboratory furnace with silit rod heating for high-temperature processes up to 1500 °C

Looking for a furnace for demanding laboratory processes at very high temperatures?

The LHS 08/15 model is a desktop laboratory furnace with silit rods designed for controlled heat treatment up to 1500 °C.

When is this model the right choice?
  • You need high-temperature operation up to 1500 °C
  • You require rapid achievement of the required temperature
  • You want compact dimensions without a bulky transformer
  • You are looking for a furnace suitable for sintering, testing of materials or similar laboratory applications
The LHS 08/15 model is designed for high-temperature laboratory applications. It is especially suitable for processes where standard laboratory furnaces with resistance wire heating are no longer sufficient. The furnace uses silit rods, which allow high power density, fast heat-up and long service life. Compared with the VP type furnace, the LHS has more compact dimensions and a lower purchase price.

Key features:

  • Maximum temperature 1500 °C
  • Maximum temperature for long-term use 1450 °C
  • Inner volume 8.4 l
  • Silit rods on the furnace sides
  • Thermocouple Type “B”
  • Forced jacket cooling with ventilator fan
  • Contactless switching relay for noiseless operation

Typical applications

This laboratory furnace is suitable for high-temperature laboratory processes, especially where standard resistance wire furnaces can no longer operate. It is suitable for applications requiring rapid temperature increase and reliable high-temperature operation.

  • Sintering – solid state, liquid phase and powder sintering
  • Testing of materials
  • Enamel firing (partially suitable)
  • Melting of metal materials (partially suitable)
  • Fusing of glass (partially suitable)

Available models in this series

For high temperature laboratory processes

You need a high-temperature laboratory furnace for demanding processes up to 1400 / 1500 °C with fast heating and stable performance.

The LHS series uses SiC-based heating rods, enabling rapid heat-up, high temperature capability and reliable operation in demanding thermal processes where standard resistance heating is no longer sufficient.

Suitable for applications with elevated temperature requirements or intensive thermal cycles. For standard laboratory processes, consider conventional muffle furnaces such as the L or LH series.
