The PTS tilting melting furnace up to 1200 °C is designed for foundries that require melting of aluminium alloys, controlled pouring and safe transfer of molten metal.

The PTS furnace combines electric melting technology with a hydraulic tilting system. The furnace is designed for aluminium foundries where molten metal must be transferred efficiently and safely for further processing, holding or casting.

Optional accessories available at additional cost
- Charge thermocouple with protective tube
- Thermocouple in the wall of the crucible (not possible for PTS 30/12, PTS 60/12, PTS 110/12)
- Heating spirals made from Kanthal APM (we recommend these for temperatures above 1100 °C)
- Alsint tubes (we recommend these for temperatures above 1100 °C)
- Calibration of the controller’s measuring input
- System to check for cracks in crucible
