The PTPR recuperative gas-fired melting furnace up to 1200 °C is designed for melting aluminium and aluminium alloys. The recuperation system uses heat from flue gases to preheat combustion air for the gas burner and helps reduce gas consumption.

The recuperation system consists of a burner, heat exchanger and fan connected to the furnace frame. Hot flue gases heat the exchanger, while the fan drives fresh air through it. The burner then uses this preheated air for combustion, which helps reduce the amount of gas needed for the melting process.
